I was there for 1 night and ate at à la carte restaurant especially from the bar and restaurant. The location was good and beautiful, in an old Manor House with lots of original features in the public areas, and the bed...  

Picturesque and fairly clean place, great view over the lake. Nicely furnished and well priced units and incredibly attentive staff on during service.

The hotel is nicely decorated and fairly clean, nestled in a very good building with magnificent view of the lake. The location is nice in a very pleasant area, so close to the restaurant from there, and easy to get to. Also, it's...  

The staff was unfailingly friendly, the breakfast was above average, everything was fab. The room was double superior and good sized with luxury bathroom and coffee, so much space and armchairs....  

Exceptional accommodation with lovely location in all areas except the leisure facilities. Continental breakfast, good food. Nicely furnished superior double room, the service was very good.

The hotel is pleasant and fairly clean, has pleasant views over lake. A junior suite has basic facilities you need. There is a pleasant à la carte restaurant for the price we paid. Every time in Shrewsbury, we choose this place.

The room was well-appointed and had en suite bathroom plus tea and coffee making facilities, and fridges. The location was unbeatable and magnificent - a short walk to everywhere we wanted to go.

We appreciated being here. Had an enjoyable stay for our 30th birthday weekend. The hotel had exceptionally nice location short walk to the Olympics highlights on an evening and the gallery. Also, it was close to visit The Adventure Rope Course.

I recently had a wonderful weekend getaway at this hotel, nestled in beautiful well-maintained gardens. The location was perfect - outside the town centre, providing a peaceful rural setting, yet close enough to Shrewsbury to easily explore the area. The staff were attentive and the basic amenities were all provided. The rooms were comfortable, with my sister and I enjoying a lovely big bed and a delightful view of the garden. To top it off, breakfast was included and served with endless tea and coffee.

Great location, situated outside the town with a lovely view. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Ideal for those with a car to explore the surrounding areas.

The restaurant service was slow and disorganized. The food quality was poor and the limited menu options were often unavailable.

The hotel is located in a peaceful area just outside of Shrewsbury. The room was impeccably clean and had a comfortable bed. The hotel grounds are beautiful and provide a perfect spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy a drink. The variety of excellent meals offered at the hotel was impressive.

Functional and stylish room with both large shower cubicle, iron/ironing board, for example. Efficient check in and late check out.
